The artist César Manrique, born in Arrecife, Lanzarote, left his mark throughout the Canary Islands and, at least in Lanzarote, was able to prevent the excesses of reckless tourism during his lifetime. He achieved this primarily through his friendship with the island's former president and his immense creativity.

In 1992, César Manrique was killed in a car accident at the intersection leading to his former home. Director Miguel G. Morales, himself a native of the Canary Islands, embarks on a search for this multifaceted artist in his documentary, which he co-produced with Allary Film, TV & Media.
The result is a broad, colorful kaleidoscope of memories, photos, videos, and audio recordings spanning several decades.
The film was broadcast on Spanish television on TVE and was shortlisted for the "Best Documentary" category at the Spanish Film Academy's Goya Awards.
